Dream Weaver and Extra Fabric

Hello Fellow Quilters!

I recently bought Tula Pinks book Quilts from the House of Tula Pink from her website.  When I got the book I also got all the fabric to make the Dream Weaver quilt that is in the book.  This has to be the biggest quilt I have ever made.  Damn  thing is huge...well huge to me...

It is a nice sunny day here in Texas and I was able to get some good outside shots of it by the pool.

Finished Size: 80" x 96"
Fabric:  Prince Charming
Quilting and Piecing by ME!

Kimono Wallhanging

Second project of the year.  I feel alright about this.  I think the Mrs. had the right idea and I should have broken up the blocks with some solid color.  The tabs are too long too but that was my first time making tabs so it is a learning process.  Overall it isn't too bad.

First Quilt of the Year

Nothing like starting off the new year right!  First quilt finished on New Years Day.  The design I did in EQ 7.  Just have square triangles put together to make a zig zag pattern.  The Fabric is designed by Sheri McCulley Studios and called Woodland Tails.  It is put out by Riley Blake Designs.

Cool Quilting Class by Angela Walters [Quilting]

So I started taking this online class by Angela Walters called "Machine Quilting Negative Space".  Man this class rules!  It is opening my mind to so many new ways of quilting.  I highly recommend it.  Here is a practice piece that I am working on.

Video Tutorial on Longarm Free Motion Quilting! [Quilting]

Judy over at Green Fairy Quilts has a great tutorial on longarm free motion quilting.  I just started using a longarm and it is taking a little of getting used to but I am starting to get the hang of it.
Video Tutorial:

Okay, I had a little too much fun putting this video together. It is around 6 minutes, so hunker down and plan for that. By the end of the video you will either be dancing or thinking I am the biggest dork - either way I had fun putting this together. I hope you like it!
